Search Queries
When a name, location, or other search term is entered into a search box powered by a third-party provider, that query is sent to the provider that operates the tool. Minnesota Inmate Population does not keep its own official jail, court, DOC, BOP, or ICE database, and it does not store those search terms as government records.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send an email or submit a message, the information in that message may be kept long enough to read it, respond, and manage the request. Please avoid sending sensitive inmate, victim, child, medical, immigration, Social Security, payment, or sealed-case details unless they are truly needed for the message. Contact submissions are not shared outside the organization unless required by law.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, this site may receive basic technical data when a page loads. That data helps maintain the site, diagnose problems, measure usage, and understand which Minnesota custody-resource pages are being used.

This site does not claim access to nonpublic jail, court, DOC, BOP, ICE, medical, juvenile, victim, sealed, or security-sensitive databases.
